Types of Files that can be stored in Archive One
Archive One can be configured to support all file types supported by Microsoft Windows.
This article contains a list of common file types Archive One is shipped with as the default configuration.
Documents
Microsoft Office Files:
- Microsoft Excel (*.xls, *.xlsx)
- Microsoft Word (*.doc, *.docx)
- PowerPoint (*.ppt, *.pptx)
- Outlook Email Files (*.eml)
Scanned Images:
TIFF is the recommended standard document format for scanned images for archiving.
- TIFF (*.TIF, *.TIFF)
Reasons why TIFF is the recommended format.
- Supports Multipage
- It is a lossless format that supports compression (Does not lose quality)
Portable Document Format:
Adobe's image format is used to represent documents with text or images.
- PDF (*.PDF)
Image Files and Text Files:

- Portable Network Graphics (*.PNG)
- Graphics Interchange Format (*.GIF)

Multipart Files
