Types of Files that can be stored in Archive One

Archive One can be configured to support all file types supported by Microsoft Windows.

This article contains a list of common file types Archive One is shipped with as the default configuration.

Supported File Formats

Documents


Microsoft Office Files:

  • Microsoft Excel (*.xls, *.xlsx)
  • Microsoft Word (*.doc, *.docx)
  • PowerPoint (*.ppt, *.pptx)
  • Outlook Email Files (*.eml)

Scanned Images: 

TIFF is the recommended standard document format for scanned images for archiving.

  • TIFF (*.TIF, *.TIFF)

  • Supports Multipage
  • It is a lossless format that supports compression (Does not lose quality)

Portable Document Format:

Adobe's image format is used to represent documents with text or images.

  • PDF (*.PDF)

  • Portable Network Graphics (*.PNG)
  • Graphics Interchange Format (*.GIF)
